Train Steward

Are you ready to jump into a fast-paced and varied work environment where you meet new people and landscapes daily? In a train steward's job, no two days are the same! We are looking for a full-time (113.5h/3 weeks) train steward in Vaasa for a permanent employment contract in the fascinating world of long-distance trains. In this position, you will serve treats to hungry passengers, bring smiles to customers' faces, and ensure that every journey is a comfortable experience. Your responsibilities include customer service, preparation of products for sale, cashier work, serving alcohol, and taking care of the comfort and cleanliness of the restaurant car. Shifts can sometimes be long, balanced by longer breaks. What we expect from you: - You are a customer service master - or on your way to becoming one. - You have a twinkle in your eye but can keep a cool head in a rush. - Willingness to work irregular hours – trains run from morning to night. - Ability to work both in a team and independently. - 18 years of age. - Finnish language skills. - Hygiene passport, liquor license is an advantage.
