Head of Financial Controlling

Puuilo, a listed company, is seeking a highly skilled professional for the position of Head of Financial Controlling. This is a replacement recruitment as the previous holder has recently become the CFO. The role is central to the financial organization of the listed company, responsible for the entirety of financial reporting and leading the financial controlling team. The Head of Financial Controlling manages two financial controllers and owns the external accounting and reporting process, including scheduling and IFRS expertise. Key responsibilities include financial statements, earnings release reports, and quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting. The role also involves managing the accounting manual, collaborating closely with the accounting firm, supporting audits and the CFO in investor communications, and owning CSRD reporting and stock exchange releases. The ideal candidate has 10–15+ years of experience in demanding financial management roles, strong IFRS knowledge, and preferably knowledge of the Limited Liability Companies Act. A background in listed companies and/or auditing is beneficial, as is experience with CSRD reporting. The candidate should be independent, proactive, and practical, capable of working as both an expert and a leader in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Finnish and English is required; Swedish is a plus.
