The education services of the City of Alajärvi announce a vacancy for An early childhood education childcare worker for an open-ended position starting September 7, 2026, at Ullanlinna Day Care Center, with the initial placement in the shift care group. Eligibility requirements for the childcare worker position are a vocational qualification in education and guidance, a vocational qualification in social and health care, or another equivalent applicable degree in accordance with Section 28 of the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018, which includes or has been supplemented by sufficiently extensive modules in childcare, education, and teaching. Salary and working hours are determined according to KVTES. Our workplace is smoke-free. We apply a 3-month probationary period. The selected candidate must present an acceptable criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 and a health certificate required for permanent employment no later than 30 days after receiving notification of the selection decision, before the selection is confirmed.
