We are seeking a proactive Specialized Youth Worker for Kouvola's youth services. Specialized youth work provides confidential support for young people aged 12-18 and their families. Help is available for peer relationships, schooling, substance use, loneliness, and other everyday challenges. The primary focus is on preventive work. We meet the young person where it is most natural for them and search for solutions together using youth work methods. The goal is to strengthen the young person's well-being, resources, and belief in the future. Key tasks: - individual guidance - guiding small groups - substance abuse education - guidance according to the nicotine product intervention model - outreach youth work - multidisciplinary cooperation The job includes evening work. Qualification requirements: a degree in community pedagogy, a Bachelor of Social Services (Sosionomi AMK), or a qualification as a youth and community instructor, as well as at least two years of experience in individual work. We require experience working with young people, good interaction skills, and proactivity. The selected candidate must present a valid criminal record extract before accepting the position. The position has a 6-month probationary period. Performing the duties requires the possibility of using one's own car. Interviews will be conducted on-site primarily in week 33; if necessary, interviews will begin during the application process.
