At Rinnekodit Selja, we offer daytime activities promoting inclusion for people with severe intellectual and physical disabilities. Our unit's client profile is care-oriented, meaning our clients need a lot of help and support in all daily activities. Our clients experience the world best through the senses. We want to invest in a multisensory approach and be genuinely present for our clients. We are renewing our group activities in the autumn, and we hope for enthusiasm for creating something new! We are centrally located in Pasila. You can easily reach us by public transport or bicycle! Our goal is to support our clients' agency and inclusion in their own everyday lives. We provide high-quality service in accordance with our customer promise. As an instructor, you play a key role in identifying clients' individual needs and ensuring high-quality care. You work with a professional approach, respecting the client's right to self-determination and meeting them appreciatively. Your work includes, among other things, group guidance, basic care and possibly medication. You also support clients physically in daily activities. We offer a good induction and various trainings to ensure smooth working. We expect from you: a practical nurse or other social and health care degree and Suosikki registration from the License and Supervision Authority OR final stage of studies; a social and health care professional card (Kanta certificate card) OR readiness to acquire the card during the probation period; readiness to demonstrate medication competence by completing a medication permit within four months of starting employment and regularly during employment; basic proficiency in Finnish, which you need for recording and meeting clients; readiness to work with our client group and guide activities; vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act. We value knowledge of kinesthetics. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace. We check the criminal record extract of the person selected for the position in the manner intended by legislation (Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care) before concluding the employment contract.
