Job Description As a part-time Reporting Controller, you will act as the right hand of the Finance team, responsible for the practical implementation of reporting, analytics, and data quality. Your role is critical, as you ensure that the business and management always have up-to-date, high-quality, and easily accessible information to support decision-making. - Location: Vantaa / flexible hybrid work according to agreed practices (max. half of working time can be remote) - Working hours: Part-time (starting at approx. 50%, specific days and hours to be agreed flexibly based on need) - Duration: Fixed-term, August/September 2026 – 05/2027 What our client offers you? Responsibilities - Reporting and Analytics: You will regularly prepare and update financial and business reports (revenue, margins, costs, customers, and variances). You will support the preparation of materials for monthly reporting, forecasts, and budgets. - Systems and Development (Power BI & SAP): You will maintain and develop Power BI reports and utilize SAP, Analysis, and Excel tools. You will participate in the testing and documentation of a new SAP system. - Month-end Closing and Monitoring: You will assist in month-end closing reporting, reconciliations, and variance analyses (SGA, COGS, freight). If necessary, you will also support the team with basic accounting tasks. - Data Quality: You will identify manual work steps and develop more automated, repeatable reporting models and instructions to replace them. We hope for: - Relevant educational background: Relevant university studies or a degree (e.g., accounting, finance, analytics, information systems, or business administration). - Work experience: Some background in relevant tasks (e.g., management accounting / financial reporting / assistant controller / accounting). - System skills: Strong Excel skills and Power BI proficiency (or a strong desire to develop in it). SAP or ERP understanding and experience from the FMCG, retail, or logistics sectors are considered an advantage. - A systematic and numerically accurate approach. You are a proactive doer with good prioritization skills in a part-time role. - Language skills: Fluent Finnish and English (both oral and written).
