Early Childhood Education Social Worker

Welcome to Vantaa! We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Social Worker to build multidisciplinary cooperation between social workers and teachers at Lintukallio Kindergarten. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of pedagogical activities. You will be responsible for educational cooperation with families and strengthening community and inclusion with guardians and other child-family service providers. You will develop services and new ways of operating from the perspective of promoting the well-being and community of children and families. You will also be responsible for promoting children's well-being and guiding children, families, and guardians. Lintukallio Kindergarten is located in Martinlaakso. We are seeking a permanent social worker to pair with a permanent teacher in a group of 3-5 year olds. The team also includes a childcare worker. We seek social workers with a positive and professional approach that emphasizes children's strengths. Eligibility: Early Childhood Education Social Worker (according to the Early Childhood Education Act). Good oral and written Finnish language skills are required. Terms of employment are determined by the Municipal General Civil Servants and Government Employees Collective Agreement (KVTES). Salary: 3113-3218 eur/month. Experience-based increase: 3-8%. Required permits: Valid criminal record extract and tuberculosis clearance.
