Come do meaningful work with youth and early adolescents. The parish is advertising a position for a Youth Worker (Savonlinna-Sulkava). The official place of work is Savonlinna, but the focus of development work is Sulkava. Eligibility and requirements - Eligibility for the position is based on the qualifications for a youth worker as decided by the Church Council (Church Regulations No. 164). - The appointee must be a confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. - A driver's license and the use of one's own car are essential. - We expect knowledge of parish work, initiative, teamwork skills, and the ability to work across professional boundaries. - We value versatile work skills, including social media expertise and networking skills. Before the selection is confirmed, the appointee must present a medical certificate of their health written by an occupational health physician, as well as a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act.
