A fixed-term position for a BASIC EDUCATION SPECIAL CLASS TEACHER is available at Niemenrannan School for the period 20.8.2026 - 12.11.2026. The duties involve working as a teacher in a small group, teaching native language, mathematics, English, environmental studies, and history. Niemenrannan School has two units. This special class teacher position is located at the Salonpää unit. Salonpää is a single-track school. The special class teacher has their own fixed group consisting of students from grades 3-6. The special class teacher collaborates with the classroom teachers of these grades. There is also a comprehensive special education teacher in Salonpää. Eligibility requirements are determined according to the Decree on the Qualifications of Teaching Staff (986/1998). Original degree certificates proving eligibility must be presented during a possible interview. Remuneration is determined according to the municipal education sector's official and collective agreement. Before the selection is confirmed, and no later than 30 days after receiving the selection decision, the selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 3 of the Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
