The City of Salo's basic education has an open part-time hourly teacher position (Chinese) for the academic year 2026-2027. The position starts as soon as possible, by agreement. This is a fixed-term official position as a part-time hourly teacher of native language in basic education. In the academic year 2026-2027, teaching will be at Uskela School for 2 hours/week. Your duties include teaching the Chinese language and assessing students' learning. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop your own subject. We are a reliable and stable employer. Experience in implementing various operating models to support student learning, experience in language-aware teaching, and positive pedagogy are considered advantages. In addition to the position-specific salary, a supplement based on work experience may be paid in accordance with the official and collective agreement. We also pay a personal supplement to all whose employment has lasted over 6 months. The official relationship is filled conditionally until the selected person has presented an acceptable certificate of their health status to the selecting authority and a registry extract in accordance with Act 504/2002 (Act on the Checking of the Criminal Background of Persons Working with Children) within 30 days of notification of the selection decision. A six (6) month probationary period applies to the employment relationship, provided that the conditions of the official and collective agreement are met.
