As an instructor, you will influence the daily lives and well-being of clients with intellectual disabilities at the Päivähelmi day activity center in the center of Salo - in your work, every day is built on encounters and individual support. Your Role You will work as an instructor at the Päivähelmi day activity center, located at Mariankatu 20 in the center of Salo. The work environment combines a central location with nature-oriented outdoor opportunities. Your work community consists of 13 professionals, and work is carried out as part of a multidisciplinary team. The day activity center has a total of 37 clients who participate in activities in four groups. Two groups are for clients on the autism spectrum and two for clients with more severe disabilities. As an instructor, you will play a key role in supporting the smoothness of clients' daily lives and their well-being. Your key tasks are: - ensuring the daily well-being, guidance, and fulfillment of individual needs of clients according to a common plan, respecting the client - participating in the preparation, implementation, and monitoring of service implementation plans together with clients and their loved ones - implementing medication administration and healthcare tasks according to the medication plan - cooperating with relatives, the work community, and client networks to facilitate daily life - taking care of your own professional activities as well as the functionality and open interaction of the work community. Additionally, we require a hygiene passport and good Finnish language skills. The eligibility requirement is a vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or a previous school-level degree in the field.
