We are looking for additions to our cheerful art team! We are the importer and market leader of the paint and wine concept in Finland, operating in eight different locations. In addition to our team's well-being, the quality of equipment and events—meaning sustainability and customer satisfaction—is most important to us. We organize entertaining painting events where the main goals are customer enjoyment and the creation of a piece of art. In Helsinki, we have four fixed locations in the Kamppi area. Two of these are our own bars, where the job description also includes serving drinks. Depending on demand and opportunities, we also produce private events in the customer's own premises. The working language is Finnish, but international corporate customers speaking English also visit regularly. Therefore, you need both working languages. Working hours are concentrated in the evenings and weekends, but work is also available in the afternoons. The number of gigs varies by season. February and July-August are quiet periods, while events are more frequent from April to June and October to December. One gig lasts approximately 3.5h-4h. Working time includes transporting equipment and preparing the space, receiving payments, guiding the event (duration 2h), customer service, and finally cleaning the space and transporting equipment back to the warehouse. In small events (max 8 people), only the instructor works, while a host assists in larger events. The host's role is to be available to customers and act as an assistant instructor during the event. Roles are rotated within the team, so both roles are active, but the instructor is responsible for the painting and scheduling. To do the job, it is sufficient that you are inspired by painting and know how to paint with acrylics. Our instructors paint a pre-agreed work at the same time as the customers in the style of Bob Ross. There is a ready-made sample image and instructions to follow for each work. In Helsinki, the job description also includes working in our own painting bars: opening the bar, serving drinks, and cleaning and closing the space. We provide training for all tasks, but previous bar experience is considered an advantage. Starting salary for the instructor role is 49.45€/gig + evening bonuses + holiday compensation. Starting salary for the host role is 48.50€/gig + evening bonuses + holiday compensation. First salary increases occur after 12 months of work experience. Send your open application to helsinki@paintparty.fi. Please mention in your application which days and times of day you would primarily be available. Please attach a few examples of art you have created. Welcome to apply to join our cheerful team!
