About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse for outpatient care at the Hankasalmi Health Centre for a fixed-term employment contract until October 4, 2026. The duties of the registered nurse include assessing the need for care and service guidance via telephone and at the service point, caring for observation and emergency patients, and assisting in procedures. The health centre will launch a personal nurse and personal doctor model in the autumn. If you serve as a personal nurse, you will also be responsible for the non-urgent care of the population in your assigned area. This includes the treatment, check-ups, and guidance for chronic and common diseases. The role also involves assessing the need for care via telephone and chat services. This is a daytime position. You will work in a multidisciplinary team where cooperation and collegial support are central to daily life. You will be supported by a competent work community and supervisor, and we will provide you with a thorough orientation for the role. In your work, you will be able to utilize your expertise diversely and participate in the development of operations. Position-specific salary is €2,965.58/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay a work experience supplement of 3% for 5 years and 8% for 10 years. Please also note the excellent public sector employment terms, such as regarding vacation days. The accumulation of vacation days is determined by your work experience - the more experience, the more earned vacation days. The eligibility requirement is the qualification required by the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994), a licensed registered nurse. We hope for an independent and responsible approach to work, good cooperation and interaction skills, and a development-oriented attitude. We value flexibility and the ability to work in digital service environments. Considered an advantage: - experience in independent clinic work, especially in the treatment of chronic diseases and health check-ups in outpatient care - experience in assessing the need for care via telephone The position requires up-to-date expertise in medication management according to the medication plan, or the completion of such training at the start of employment. Additionally, we require suitability according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations. The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the social and health care employment and official agreement (SOTE agreement). A probationary period applies to the employment relationship.
