We are looking for you, Researcher/ Senior Researcher, Engines and Vehicles to our Gasoline, Aviation & Powertrains team in Kilpilahti, Porvoo. You will focus on supporting fuel development as an engine and vehicle technology expert. In this role, you will also be working with vehicle regulation, external partners, and in technical working groups. In this job you will work closely with engine researchers, fuel experts, sustainability assessment, and public affairs. You will partake in tasks related to fuel research, advocacy, vehicle regulation, and fuel standardization with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including OEMs. You will be part of the Products & Applications department. Your role in our team - Support in managing high-level partnerships with OEMs - Provide technical expertise in engine and vehicle emissions regulations - Act as a Neste representative within influential association groups in topics such as well-to-wheel initiatives - Serve as the internal subject matter expert on combustion systems and fuel-engine interactions - Drive Neste's interests in international technical working groups - Design and supervise internal and external engine research experiments Keys to success in this role - Master's Degree in Engine Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field - 3+ years of experience in relevant R&D roles in the automotive or fuel industry - Familiarity with LCA - Deep understanding of the global regulatory landscape for emissions and fuels - Responsible attitude and safety-oriented mindset - Fluent English language skills Other strengths we value - Influencing, collaboration and communication skills - Go-getter mindset - Digital and analytical proficiency - Experience in international standardization - Adaptability and flexibility

Requirements
