Hello psychiatrist or child and adolescent psychiatrist, would you be interested in working in a unique student health care setting? Our client base is friendly and committed to their care. Mental health issues are addressed by a multidisciplinary team including psychiatric nurses, health nurses, and psychologists. It would be a great advantage if you have expertise in diagnosing and treating neuropsychiatric disorders. Students are directed to the psychiatrist’s appointment mainly by general practitioners when more specialized assessment is needed after initial care by a psychiatric nurse, psychologist, or general doctor. Based on research results, the psychiatrist develops treatment and rehabilitation plans with necessary statements. Psychiatrists also provide other consultation work, answering questions from general practitioners and teams. Our accessible Acute patient information system is easy to use and quickly adoptable. We offer comprehensive orientation, support from colleagues and supervisors, training to develop your skills, remote work insurance, a good working atmosphere, comprehensive occupational health services, and ePassi activity benefit. We value work-life balance, with working days ending on time and evenings and weekends free. The full-time doctor’s working hours are 38.25 hours/week, with flexible annual working hours. Saturdays are not counted in leave calculations. We follow the agreement between YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association regarding working conditions and salary. The task-specific salary range for specialist doctors is 7201–7936 euros per month, with the possibility of a personal bonus of 6-24%. Payment for medical certificates and reports is according to the collective agreement. Work can be done fully or partly remotely or from YTHS service points.
