Maintenance Specialist

Finavia is seeking a Maintenance Multi-skilled Specialist for a permanent position at Joensuu Airport. The role involves the maintenance of land-side and air-side areas, as well as other airport facility areas. Additionally, the specialist will participate in the airport's fire and rescue operations and security screenings. Success in this role requires diverse experience in maintenance and service tasks, familiarity with machinery, and a strong interest in technology. The position involves shift work and requires a BC driver's license, normal color vision, and sufficient IT skills. Fire and rescue duties require good health and physical fitness. Selected candidates will undergo a basic security clearance, drug testing, and a Peth test for alcohol consumption for safety-critical tasks. The ideal candidate is a customer-oriented team player who takes responsibility, boldly develops new ideas, and values both their own and others' work. Open communication, cross-border collaboration, and a positive attitude are essential. The role requires a suitable education and fluency in Finnish, with a working knowledge of English.
