CNC Machinist for multi-tasking lathes, permanent day job (Akaa Viiala) Application period 30.07.2026 – 13.08.2026 We are now looking via direct recruitment for our long-standing, solvent and respected family-owned client company a CNC Machinist for a permanent employment relationship in Akaa Viiala. The position can start quickly once a suitable person is found. In this, you have a great opportunity to be involved in manufacturing parts for various machines and devices as well as the company's own products for the needs of customer companies in several industrial sectors. About 20 machinists work in modern and clean production facilities with modern machines. Work is done on a modern multi-tasking lathe. The pieces to be machined are small batches and individual pieces. The pieces are manually liftable in size. Your duties include, among other things: • machining work according to drawings and quality requirements • tool changes, making settings, measurements and quality control • use of CAM software either independently or assisted • a robot is coming for the exchange of pieces, for which previous use of a robot cell is considered an advantage. We naturally value the expertise brought by experience (turning and/or milling work), but we also take into account machinists at the beginning of their careers who are eager and able to learn and develop. We also consider candidates who have a good command of English. Good orientation and support from colleagues are given for the position. The work is a weekday day job 40 h / week (8 h / day), 7:00–15:00. The technology industry collective agreement is followed in the position.
