Senior Workday Implementation Specialist This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Workday Implementation Specialist, joining our Global Payroll Implementation team. In your role, you will be responsible for implementing and integrating multiple new customers onto our Remote Global Payroll platform where Workday serves as the core HCM system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless delivery within agreed timescales. You will be reporting to the Manager, Global Payroll Workday Implementations. What You Bring Proven experience implementing or integrating Workday HCM, ideally within a global payroll or HRIS context. Strong understanding of Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, and Integrations. Experience delivering end-to-end payroll implementations leveraging Workday as the source of truth for HR and employee data. Demonstrated ability to map and validate data between Workday and external payroll systems, ensuring compliance and data accuracy. Excellent and proficient understanding of global payroll operations, statutory compliance, and multi-country payroll setup. Strong customer onboarding and project management experience for complex, multi-entity implementations. Advanced data management and analysis skills (Google Sheets or Excel). An analytical, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset. Self-starter, comfortable working independently and asynchronously across time zones. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Experience working remotely is a plus. Familiarity with Monday.com, Notion, Slack, and Salesforce is a plus. Knowledge of other payroll platforms is a plus. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Workday payroll integrations for large and complex customers, ensuring successful setup, data migration, and go-live. Serve as the primary technical and functional point of contact for customers implementing Remote’s Global Payroll integrated with Workday. Analyse customers’ Workday environments to understand data structures, configurations, and dependencies for integration into Remote’s systems. Manage the data extraction, transformation, and validation processes between Workday and Remote’s Global Payroll platform. Partner closely with customers’ HRIS, Payroll, and IT teams to align HCM-to-Payroll data flows, ensuring accurate configuration and compliance. Configure Remote’s Payroll system on a customer-by-customer basis, ensuring adherence to local regulations and tax requirements. Coordinate and validate parallel payroll runs, reconciliations, and year-to-date adjustments to confirm setup accuracy. Oversee payroll go-live readiness, ensuring all integrations, validations, and compliance checks are complete. Transition customers to Payroll Operations teams with complete and accurate configuration documentation. Provide training and guidance to customers on Workday integration processes, data mapping, and payroll best practices. Maintain strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction, adoption, and retention. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, scalability, and process optimisation. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of customer and employee data at all times. Participate in quality assurance reviews of peer implementations to ensure consistency and compliance with Remote’s standards. Support the creation and maintenance of Workday integration playbooks and internal process documentation. Requirements
- Proven experience implementing or integrating Workday HCM
