Practical Nurse

As a practical nurse, you are an important part of a multidisciplinary team, participating in the planning and implementation of patient care and rehabilitation. Your work combines a rehabilitative approach, responsible nursing care, and holistic support for patients. Your key tasks include the daily care and rehabilitation of patients, as well as pain and wound care. You will also perform demanding medication and fluid therapies. In addition to patients, you support their relatives during different stages of care and rehabilitation. The work requires the ability to operate in changing situations and apply your expertise in various everyday scenarios. The orthogeriatric rehabilitation ward is located at Tyks Kaskenlinna Hospital. Work is performed in three shifts. Most importantly, we value the right attitude and a desire to provide high-quality nursing care for the benefit of the patients. We require valid medication permits or the completion of the LOVe exam during the probationary period. The position requires good oral and written Finnish language skills. Proficiency in Swedish is considered an advantage. The eligibility requirement is a vocational qualification in social and health care (practical nurse) or a previous school-level degree in the field. We look forward to your application!
