We are seeking open and active colleagues for fixed-term contracts from September 14 to December 31, 2026 (averaging 5 or 10 h/week). Our service concept includes personalized customer attention, offering new experiences, and sales work in accordance with Finland's Best Customer Encounter. As a sales assistant at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa, your duties include active sales work, maintaining the store's appearance, and other daily store tasks. Salary is according to the retail sector's collective agreement (TES) requirement class B. - 12.81 €/h–14.57 €/h depending on years of experience - Evening supplement after 6 PM: 4.00 €/h - Saturday supplement after 1 PM: 5.27 €/h - Sunday work is paid at double rate We primarily seek individuals with previous experience in store and cashier work, and above all, we value an active, brisk, and enthusiastic attitude toward sales work. You approach new tasks with an open mind and do your best to serve the customer, even during busy periods. Shifts are scheduled according to store opening hours on both weekdays and weekends. We use a working time equalization system, so weekly hours may vary. Work in the store is done as a team, but also in situations where you are independently responsible for store operations.
