Staff for after-school activities for special-needs youths (part-time)

We are looking for instructors for after-school activities for special-needs youths to work on a gig basis in Espoo (Leppävaara and Otaniemi), Vantaa, and Helsinki. The after-school program serves youths who need daily support. You will plan and guide a fun, diverse afternoon program together with the team, including activities such as games, crafts, and music. Your contact person in the project will be a coordinating instructor, with the group’s lead instructor supporting day-to-day matters. We offer a pleasant and relaxed work community with easy entry. Shifts run on weekdays from Monday to Friday, 14:00–17:00. During school holidays we organize holiday care with hours 8:00–16:00. Workplaces are in Espoo, Helsinki, and Vantaa with good public transport links. This is gig work and suits students or those who want to do additional work in home-care services. No sector-specific training is required, and you’ll receive thorough onboarding. Preferred, but not required, is a social and health care qualification such as social services bachelor or nurse education for special needs or developmental disabilities, or prior experience working with special-needs youths or people with disabilities. The role is also suitable for students seeking valuable experience in special-needs engagement. Many of our instructors advance to lead instructor roles, and we aim to support growth and career development within Mehiläinen. We follow the private social services collective agreement.
