Chief Occupational Health Doctor

Mehiläinen is seeking a Chief Occupational Health Doctor for Tampere to lead the medical management of occupational health services, ensure service quality, impact and customer-centricity, and develop processes and work methods in collaboration with unit leadership and multi-disciplinary teams. The role involves coordinating medical leadership of occupational health services, developing service levels and expertise, implementing operating models and procedures, and collaborating with corporate clients, account teams and insurer partners. The doctor will participate in client meetings, service development and, if needed, procurement; promote physician staffing, recruitment and appointment availability; provide occupational health consulting on work-related medical topics; lead multi-professional teamwork with service managers; monitor quality, impact and financial targets together with the unit director. Requirements include a licensed medical degree in Finland, specialist rights in occupational health or strong relevant experience; broad clinical experience and good knowledge of the Finnish occupational health system; interest in medical leadership, development and quality assurance; excellent collaboration, communication and influencing skills; proactive, responsible and development-minded attitude; ability to act in a multi-professional and business-oriented environment; prior leadership or development experience in occupational health is an asset.
