About the role

Do you want to help strengthen how Ålandsbanken works with data quality, data governance, and monitoring within the financing area? We are now looking for a Data Product Manager who wants to contribute to developing our ways of working and create long-term benefit for both the business and our customers. In the role, you will have a central position in the development of how data is used, quality-assured, and monitored within the bank. You contribute to ensuring that our data is correct, traceable, and fit for purpose – both for business management, reporting, and regulatory requirements. Your role As a Data Product Manager, you are part of Product Management's process efficiency team. Here you will have an important role in developing working methods, controls, and monitoring that strengthen the bank's use of data. In close collaboration with the business, Data Governance, and IT, you contribute to translating needs and requirements into practical solutions that create value in daily work. In the role, you will work with: - Developing, defining, and monitoring controls for data quality, data flows, and business rules. - Identifying and driving improvements that make data more reliable, traceable, and usable. - Collaborating with different parts of the organization, especially the business, Data Governance, and IT. - Participating in requirement setting, testing, prioritization, and monitoring related to regulations, reporting, and business needs. Your background We are looking for someone who has experience working with data, analysis, information management, or monitoring and who has a good understanding of processes, internal controls, and how requirements can be translated into functioning working methods. You have a university education with a systems or economic focus, or equivalent relevant work experience. Since our working language is Swedish, you need to be proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing. It is a merit if you have experience from banking, finance, or other regulated activities, especially within the financing area. Previous knowledge in the financing area and good knowledge of English are also seen as valuable. Your profile To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you are structured, analytical, and proactive. You have the ability to drive issues forward, create structure in a role under development, and communicate clearly and pedagogically with both business and technical stakeholders. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally, adapting to changing conditions, and are motivated by understanding connections, improving flows, and creating solutions that provide real benefit for both the business and the bank's customers. Becoming part of us As part of our team, you get to be where it happens. We offer you an engaged workplace where you have the opportunity to work together with an ambitious and solution-focused team. The work is interesting with versatile tasks and good opportunities to develop within the financing area. Want to know more?
