Nurse

Mental health and substance abuse services provide basic-level care for adults in the wellbeing area. We are now looking for a substitute located at the Järvenpää social and health center. Staff members are part of multidisciplinary teams at health centers, ensuring comprehensive assessment and flexible care for clients. This structure improves continuity of care and enables close collaboration with doctors and other nurses via a shared digital platform (digiklinikka). All nurses treat both mental health and substance abuse clients. Some focus on counseling, guidance, and assessment, while others provide cognitive short-term therapies, acceptance and commitment therapies, and dialectical behavior therapy skill training groups. Eligibility: - Bachelor's degree in Social and Health Care or an earlier institute-level degree. - Legal authorization as a nurse according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/1994). - Experience in mental health and/or substance abuse work at the basic or specialized care level. - Specialization in mental health and substance abuse nursing in studies and a 30 ECTS short-term therapy training (e.g., cognitive short-term therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy). Expectations: - Experience in mental health and/or substance abuse work at the basic or specialized care level. Additional Information: - Fixed-term employment until July 31, 2027, starting as agreed. - Job-specific salary is 3679.42 €/month. Experience-based additions are paid separately. - Vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55 are required for direct patient work. - A probationary period applies. - Original certificates are presented during a possible interview.
