Nurse, are you interested in ophthalmology nursing? We are looking for two nurses for fixed-term substitutions for the period 17.8-31.12.2026 in the Corneal and Anterior Segment Surgery Unit of Ophthalmology at the new Tammisairaala. Description of the unit and the task At the Corneal and Anterior Segment Surgery clinic, we treat both anterior segment surgical patients and conservative corneal patients, such as difficult infections. Our nurses' job description includes working as a partner to doctors in clinics and taking various diagnostic images. Small eye procedures are also performed in our unit, in which you may have the opportunity to deepen your expertise. As your skills grow, there is also the possibility to work in nurse-led clinics. We value good interaction skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. We hope for a genuine interest and a positive attitude towards patient work. Previous experience in ophthalmology or clinic work is beneficial, but not essential. Mastery of Apotti is also considered an advantage. We currently work in the modern premises of the new Tammisairaala. The work is day work.
