Practical Nurse

Home care is part of the services that support living at home. The goal of home care is to support the client in living in their own home for as long as possible. Our service point is located in Atala, and our area extends to the northern parts of Tampere. Our area is divided into three nursing teams, within which a primary nurse model is implemented. As a practical nurse in home care, you will work in clients' homes, which makes your work independent, mobile, and your workdays varied. Your work is versatile, people-oriented care and nursing work. We use the latest technology in our daily operations, such as medication dispensers and smartphones. We value an enthusiastic and bold attitude as well as good cooperation and professional skills. Our team is open, positive, and we work together towards common goals. The client is at the center of our operations, but work-life balance and a keen sense of humor are also important. It does not matter whether you are an experienced veteran or a recent graduate, as we will provide orientation for your important role and a competent team will always be there to support you. We use activity-based shift planning, so you can influence your own shifts. The employer also provides coffee and tea. We can select you for the position if you are a title-protected practical nurse (social services) or a basic care nurse. We require the selected candidate to have a passed LOVe medication management online test. If necessary, you can update your medication management skills at the beginning of the employment relationship. To perform the duties, you also need a category B driver's license. The working time for the employment relationship is full-time, averaging 38 h 15 min/week. A probationary period of six months applies to the position. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6, subsection 4 of the Criminal Records Act before the start of employment.
