System Engineering Manager

We are looking for a Manager of System Engineering to lead our team and client projects within Etteplan’s Design Services business. The role is based in Tampere with a hybrid working model (office in Tampere and remote options) and may involve occasional client visits. You will combine SE/SEM expertise to serve clients in a strong sales capacity, develop the team in a supervisory role, and lead demanding customer projects in defense and security. You will work to expand international collaboration with end customers as part of a growing defense-focused portfolio. A structured, forward-moving work style and strong organizational skills are essential, as is experience in SEM and product-facing activities. Responsibilities include acting as a supervisor for SE and the design group, growing the team and recruiting, creating and supporting SE/SEM expertise and training processes, sales activities, and owning results for your area. The role requires a solid background in defense technology, engineering education (engineer/MSc or equivalent), and prior supervision/SEM experience. We value experience with international projects. A security clearance and drug test will be conducted for selected candidates, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
