Department Store Manager

Are you a results-driven sales professional who enjoys leading people and getting a team fired up? With the current store manager moving on within Biltema to new challenges, we have a role opening for an experienced retail professional as Department Store Manager at our Helsinki flagship store. As Department Store Manager you will independently and with responsibility for the store’s daily operations in line with Biltema concepts. Your core focus is customer satisfaction, sales growth and outstanding results. You will build your own team by actively participating in recruitment and you will be responsible for staff wellbeing, development and a motivating work climate. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and will lead by example in both sales and customer service. We expect you to have: commercial education or solid experience in supervision; at least six years’ experience leading a store or department store; initiative, organisational skills and ability to deliver results under pressure; excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; the ability to take responsibility and work independently; a positive hands-on attitude and flexibility; willingness to work all shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends; Finnish language skills plus English and Swedish are advantageous.
