Kaiku HR is seeking several workers for its client RMC (Rauma Marine Constructions) for significant shipbuilding industry projects at the Rauma shipyard. In this role, you will be introduced to the use of cutting machines and cutting robots, initially as an assistant. No previous experience in a similar role is required for this specific position, as the work can be learned on the job. Therefore, the role is well-suited for someone at the beginning of their career. Your duties include: - assisting cutting machine operators - loading and unloading workpieces using magnets - aligning workpieces - learning to use plasma and gas cutting robots We require from you: - interest in shipyard and machine shop work - previous metalworking skills and/or training - a diligent and proactive approach to work - ability to work in a team - valid occupational safety and hot work cards - readiness for shift work Please note that selected individuals will undergo a basic personnel security clearance.
