Project Manager

g2 Recruitment is currently looking for a Project Manager with a renewable energy industry experience to work on a battery energy storage (BESS project) in Rotterdam. The client has a need for a Project Manager to join them delivering a site-based, greenfield construction project. The role can start any time between now and June/July. The role will suit a Project Manager with experience in any renewable energy industry (BESS / wind / solar) who has experience delivering projects up to about 20m€. You would be joining during the engineering phase and executed to manage the project to completion. Project Manager Specification: START: ASAP – Immediate (Interviews next week) LOCATION: Rotterdam DURATION: 12 month contract (temporary to permanent options available). Essential Skills: Project Management experience (5-10+ years). Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background preferred, ideally in BESS, Wind, Solar or similar energy industry. Site based experience, working on EPC projects. Ability to deliver projects from initiation to completion, including engineering, vendor selection, procurement, construction and commissioning. Stakeholder management skills, liaising with senior management and reporting project progress. Beneficial Skills: Dutch speaking Responsibilities: Responsible for performance of engineering & project delivery contractors. Prepare project reports and present to the management team. Create project organisation and outline responsibilities for each role – create scope for each role. Overall responsible for project budget and planning. Reporting to the Project Director, the role will incorporate delivering a brownfield capex project with a total value of around 20m€.
