Social Worker

The social worker will work in the open protection for families and children as part of child protection services at the Myyrmäki office. The role involves planned, relationship-based and systemic work for the child’s best, in collaboration with the child, the family and their networks. You will act as the social worker responsible for the cases of children in care, with diverse and challenging but rewarding tasks. The organization emphasizes client-centered practice, good onboarding, team supervision, and regular team meetings. The position is permanent and starts 11 November 2026 or by agreement, at the Myyrmäen operating site, which is close to the train station and has good transport connections. The workplace provides basic support structures such as group supervision, weekly team meetings, and accessible support from senior colleagues. We value independent and solution-oriented work, good teamwork skills, and fluent Finnish in speaking and writing. The job includes collaboration with pediatric social workers, social workers’ assistants and case managers to find the most appropriate services for families and children.
