Come do early support social guidance for maternity clinic family counseling! We are looking for a family counselor for the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area. The recruit's primary work area will be the Korso maternity clinic area at the start of employment, but the work obligation covers the entire wellbeing area if client needs require. We actively and client-centrically utilize different premises and working environments throughout the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area. Maternity clinic family counseling is social welfare early support guidance, advice, and support for expectant clients and families with children under school age. Reasons for client contact include baby's sleep challenges, daily rhythm challenges, parent's coping, and relationship problems. Counseling happens flexibly in the client's daily environment, including home visits. The work is planned and short-term early support work. A social welfare decision is made for the service. The work includes individual family meetings, leading various groups, and diverse network work. The family counselor plans their own working hours in four-week periods between 7:00 and 22:00, committing to two evening workdays per week based on client needs. We use the Apotti client information system and record as close to real-time as possible. In addition to maternity clinic family counseling, this area includes home services for families and guidance and counseling for families. About 60 employees work in various roles in the early support area, and the maternity clinic family counseling unit has 15 employees. We will organize a group interview on Mon 17.8.2026 from 14:30 to 15:30 at Karsikkokuja in Koivukylä. From the group interview, 2-4 applicants will be selected for individual interviews, which will be held on Tue 25.8.2026 between 14:15 and 16:15 via Teams. Why Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing area?
