Järviseudun koulutuskuntayhtymä seeks a part-time vocational instructor for a fixed-term period from Sep 21, 2026 to May 31, 2027. The role is in the automotive and logistics field and requires strong practical expertise in diagnostic and electrical/control systems of vehicles, familiarity with repair shop information systems and digital networks, and knowledge of laws and regulations governing the automotive and transport sectors, including safety, environmental rules, and workplace requirements. The instructor plays a central role in supporting practical learning for students in the automotive and logistics sectors in the workshop and in the field, shares responsibility for customer work management, and ensures a safe working environment. Collaborative teamwork with other teaching staff is essential, as is the ability to work independently and plan one’s own tasks. We value flexibility and the ability to guide diverse students, and there is value placed on developing one’s own skills. Beneficial qualifications include a valid BC driving licence, professional competence, and understanding of various work machines related to the field. The workplace is located at the Lappajärvi campus, with travel between units and to the field requiring driving license and own car. Start date 21.9.2026 or by agreement. Four-month trial period. Part-time at 80% with corresponding pay. Salary is determined by KVTES level pay scale and other terms by the municipal collective agreement. Prior work experience may affect salary.
