KPMG Finland is seeking an Analyst to join the Transaction Services group. The team focuses on corporate transactions and analysis of business performance and environment, with a particular emphasis on financial due diligence engagements. As part of project teams you will work closely with experienced colleagues on assignments such as financial due diligence, assessing target company profitability, net debt, working capital and other key financial drivers for M&A and related projects. You will process, refine and visualize financial information using Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics tools including Alteryx, and you will apply AI tools as part of the analysis. You will prepare reports, analyses and client materials within domestic and international M&A projects, and contribute to the advancement of your own area under the supervision of the project manager. The role is permanent and based at Töölönlahdenkatu 3 A, Helsinki. You will have the opportunity to develop in a large international professional services firm with managers and colleagues who support career development. Fluent Finnish and English are required for client-facing work.

- Perform financial due diligence analyses including adjustments to numbers in accounting and reporting
- Analyze target company profitability, net debt, working capital and other financial drivers
- Process, refine and visualize financial information using Excel, PowerPoint and data analytics tools such as Alteryx; apply AI tools as part of analysis
- Prepare reports, analyses and client materials as part of domestic and international corporate restructuring projects
- Advance own area of work with support from the named manager and actively participate in team work
Requirements
- You are near graduation or recently graduated with a degree such as KTM or DI, major in accounting, finance, production economics or related field
- Interest in corporate transactions, financial analysis and business understanding through numbers
- Relevant experience in numbers (e.g. investment banking, controllers, other analyst roles, auditing, consulting) is valued
- You work carefully, proactively and analytically in changing project situations
- Strong Excel skills and willingness to develop PowerPoint, data analytics and other tools
- Fluent in Finnish and English for client-facing work
