Help teams move from good intentions to real operational excellence! We are looking for a Technical Agile Coach who knows what it takes to make ways of working succeed in a software engineering organization. In this role, you will coach Scrum Masters and teams in how to improve flow, collaboration, ownership and delivery in practice – not just in theory. You will be a hands-on partner who helps people tackle real challenges, build high-performing teams and create lasting improvements across team boundaries. About the role In this role, you will support Scrum Masters and engineering teams in strengthening operational excellence across day-to-day delivery. You will coach teams on how to improve the way they plan, collaborate, follow up on work, manage dependencies and continuously remove friction from delivery. You will help teams turn retrospectives, metrics and observations into concrete actions that actually stick. This role goes beyond textbook agile coaching. You’ll work in the reality of modern software development organizations - navigating dependencies, unclear ownership, delivery pressure, and varying levels of agile maturity. You will work both within teams and across teams, helping people align where shared work depends on each other and ensuring that improvements lead to better outcomes, not just better ceremonies. A key part of the role is to mentor new or less experienced Scrum Masters and help them grow into strong improvement leaders. You will guide them in how to challenge constructively, drive change with credibility, and support teams in building sustainable habits for continuous improvement. You are expected to lead by example, work close to reality and contribute hands-on when needed to help teams move forward. We offer In the same way that we place high demands on you as an employee, we also expect you to place high demands on us as an employer. Who are you? You are a pragmatic and credible coach who is motivated by helping teams improve where it matters most. You know that operational excellence is not created through theory alone, but through consistent follow-through, smart prioritization and the ability to turn insight into action. You are comfortable challenging teams and Scrum Masters when needed, but you do it with respect, empathy and a genuine desire to help them grow. You bring experience from software engineering organizations and understand the realities of working with technical teams, delivery dependencies and evolving ways of working. You do not rely on one-size-fits-all answers. Instead, you adapt your coaching to the context, support people hands-on when needed and help others build the confidence and capability to improve on their own over time.
