SOS Children's Villages is seeking An Instructor for meeting point activities in Rovaniemi About the position We are looking for an instructor for the Mummun ja vaarin tupa activities in Rovaniemi. Mummun ja vaarin tuvat are low-threshold meeting places for families with children and elderly volunteers. The activities are organized on weekday evenings. In Rovaniemi, activities will be organized one weekday evening per week. Working hours are 0-4 hours per week, primarily between 15:30 and 19:30. The employment contract is fixed-term and valid until June 30, 2027. The work includes interacting with families, guiding volunteers, and cleaning the facilities. Since warm food is a central part of the evening, the role also includes food preparation as needed. Work at the center is primarily done with a partner. What are we looking for? We hope the instructor has suitable education in social services, health, or education, but the position is also suitable for a student in these fields. Additionally, we hope for experience working with families with children. Experience in guiding volunteers is considered an advantage. The instructor we are seeking is open-minded, self-directed, possesses good interaction skills, and can operate in a multicultural environment. What do we offer?
