Substitute Teacher

Mäntsälä Municipality's education services are guided by a customer service perspective, focusing on children and youth. We share a common goal of developing the well-being of students and staff, pedagogy, and a safe learning environment. We believe in a responsible work attitude and a team-based way of working. In Mäntsälä, there are 11 primary schools, 1 comprehensive school, 1 middle school, and 1 upper secondary school. We offer substitutes of various lengths for classroom teachers, subject teachers, and school assistants. Longer substitutions are announced separately on the municipality's website. For short-term substitutions, we hire professionals in the field as well as those studying in the field and others interested in the field. We require a minimum age of 18. The selected substitute must present a criminal record extract according to Act No. 504/2002. Please note that work is available irregularly and on short notice. After submitting the open application, you will receive a username and password for our electronic recruitment system. You will need these to use your electronic calendar or update your application. After receiving the application, we will contact you to arrange an interview. In the interview, we will guide you on the use of the electronic calendar and define the units where you wish to work. Once you have filled in your calendar, you will receive job offers via SMS on your preferred days. Keeping the calendar up to date is absolutely essential.
