The City of Helsinki is seeking a Facility Security Manager for a permanent position within the Urban Environment Division. The role focuses on developing physical security processes and ensuring the security of facilities used by city operations, specifically regarding the integration of technical security systems such as locking, access control, camera surveillance, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems. The manager will support staff in security-technical matters during both the construction and maintenance phases of buildings. Key responsibilities include producing physical security situational data to support management, coordinating risk management for facilities, and developing city-wide real estate and office security in collaboration with the City Executive Office and an internal cooperation network. The role involves close collaboration with security experts, security/readiness/information security managers, and experts in building technology and maintenance. The position offers flexible working hours, a multi-location work environment based in Kalasatama, and extensive employee benefits. A security clearance will be conducted for the selected candidate.

Requirements
- Master's degree from a relevant field
- At least five years of relevant expert experience (e.g., construction, real estate, or security technology)
- Expertise in building security technology related to construction and/or maintenance
- Experience in project management or supervisory work
- Experience in independent development work
- Experience working in networks
- Fluent written and spoken Finnish
- Good collaboration and interaction skills
- Proactivity and development capability
- Ability to view matters holistically
