Development Manager

This is not just any job. We do work with significant meaning for Finland’s security. We are seeking a Development Manager for our Mobile Networks in the Erve team. Erillisverkot is a state-owned company with a special mission: to provide authorities and critical infrastructure operators with secure and reliable ICT services in all conditions. You will work as part of the Radio Networks team, responsible for the technical expertise of 4G and 5G radio access networks, ensuring the network meets security-critical client requirements, and contributing to developing new functionalities and customer solutions. You will collaborate daily with skilled colleagues, partners, and various stakeholders. Your tasks include being the technical lead for 4G/5G radio access networks (RAN), coordinating with mobile operators, device manufacturers, and internal experts, and participating in RAN service provider working groups. You will analyze and measure network performance and identify improvement points, help resolve network incidents, and participate in designing, developing, and optimizing new network solutions. The position can be located in Espoo or Jyväskylä or other Erillisverkot sites across Finland with a flexible hybrid model allowing remote work and occasional travel within Finland. This role requires a higher education degree or equivalent experience, strong mobile network expertise (4G LTE and 5G NR), understanding of RAN architectures, and experience with at least one mobile network operator RAN solution.
