About the role

About the role You will support senior leads in process design projects, focusing on practical design, calculations, and technical documentation. Working within an international team, you will ensure data accuracy while managing equipment sizing tasks. You are offered - For a junior we offer great opportunity to gain valuable experience in an international setting, and for more senior applicants interesting projects, more responsibility and independency - Supportive colleagues - Remote work option 2 days / week - Epassi lunch deduction Work tasks This role involves supporting large-scale process design projects through technical calculations, equipment sizing, and meticulous documentation within a collaborative international environment. - Perform process calculation tasks and equipment sizing - Create and maintain technical process documentation - Support technical leads in conceptual design phases - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather project data - Ensure data consistency across multiple internal IT systems and tools - Actively participate in process design team meetings - Conduct research to retrieve and apply legacy information to new designs We are looking for - A degree in Chemical, Process or Material Engineering - Advanced working proficiency in English, Finnish skills are considered as an advantage - Some prior work experience in industrial processing environments, for example through a traineeship, summer job, or internship - High attention to detail, and proactive approach to work - Eagerness to take responsibility, ownership and network It is meritorious if you have - Finnish skills - Previous experience in process design - Familiarity with process calculation software and IT tools To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: - Supportive - Social - Orderly - Stable - Responsible Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
