Practical Nurse

A permanent on-site position for a Practical Nurse at Esperi Koti Gröndal in Espoo. The unit provides 24/7 assisted living for adults with mental health rehabilitation needs. The 15 places in the unit include seven detached houses on the same plot for more independent living. The facility is modern and new. We operate with a client-centered approach, giving each resident individual support, guidance and a sense of influence over their life. Gröndal has a committed team and a positive work culture with low turnover among staff and residents. Your work as a Practical Nurse includes strengthening the resident’s functional capacity and independence, providing basic care tailored to individual needs, and safely administering medications as part of holistic rehabilitation. You will assist residents with daily tasks such as external errands, participation in group activities and outdoor activities. You will plan and implement individualized support measures and activities based on our residents’ needs. You will strive to promote participation in community activities and hobbies. If you have medication licenses you can also take part in administering medications. Our work is guided by MIELI recovery orientation, emphasizing individuality, strengths, hope, meaning and positive mental health. Employment details: permanent shift work (0-115 hours/3 weeks). Two-shift work. Start date as per agreement. Salary: we follow the private social services sector collective agreement. The base hourly wage for a Practical Nurse is 15.93 €/h (pay grade G20C). Requirements: current Practical Nurse qualification, valid medication licenses or willingness to obtain them at start, hygienic pass and infection control vaccination as required, minimum Finnish language skills (B1) or equal, motivated and development-oriented attitude. Prior experience with mental health rehabilitation or related studies is an asset. A criminal record check is required. Why join us?
