We are now looking for a professional with a sote-sector AMK degree for the position of responsible instructor in a fixed-term family leave substitute (1.8-28.2.2027). Welcome to Rinnekodit Kasvunkoti Sampsa! Kasvunkoti Sampsa is a special-level foster care unit of child protection that provides a safe and home-like growing place for seven children under 18 years old. The children are currently 8-16 years old. Our unit is located in the naturally beautiful Järvenperä in Espoo. In our work, we guide and support the young people who are our clients, who have a diagnosis or traits of developmental disability and/or the autism spectrum and they need the present support of an adult related to their symptoms and emotional regulation skills. We work closely with the inner circle of children and young people. Sampsa operates in pleasant, child-designed and renovated premises in a green area near good outdoor terrains. It is easy to get to us by car or public transport. As a responsible instructor, you bring professional expertise of your own field to the work group and act as support for the service unit manager. You are in an important role ensuring a high-quality customer experience and building a functional work community. You will mainly work in morning shifts on weekdays, but occasional evening and weekend shifts are part of the task. Your work includes areas of responsibility based on your expertise, such as shift planning. Other areas of responsibility will be agreed upon in more detail with your supervisor. In addition to your responsibility tasks, your task includes care or guidance work and recording of actions taken. You work closely with our clients' inner circle. We expect from you: - sote-sector AMK degree and Suosikki registration of the License and Supervision Authority or Terhikki registration for nurses - social and health care professional card (Kanta certificate card) OR readiness to acquire the card during the probation period - strong experience in child protection - readiness for three-shift work - good proficiency in Finnish, which you need for recording and meeting clients - we hope for experience and expertise in working with the autism spectrum and people with developmental disabilities - valid LOVe medication permit Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace, where the pre-employment check includes a check of vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act. We ask the selected person for the task to show a criminal record extract according to Act 504/2002. The criminal record extract must not be older than six months. Our work community includes practical nurses, registered nurses, special instructors, a home keeper and the service unit manager acting as your supervisor. Your supervisor is committed to supporting the development of you and the entire work community with a coaching approach – encouraging, giving feedback and listening in moments of concern.
