Automotive Teacher

We are looking for a skilled automotive teacher for WinNova's Porin unit. The position is fixed-term until 31 December 2027 or as agreed. The duties include teaching modules of the vocational qualification in the training program. This involves teaching practical tasks in the workshop (maintenance and repair), theoretical instruction, and possibly supervising on-the-job learning. We require a suitable degree (automotive engineering), at least three years of relevant work experience, pedagogical studies, and a driving licence (class B). The teaching qualifications are defined by the Decree on the Qualifications of the Teaching Personnel (986/1998). If qualifications are missing, the position may be filled on a fixed-term basis for up to one year. If only the pedagogical studies are missing and the person has been approved to study those subjects, they can be hired for 1–3 years fixed term. The position belongs to the Logistics and Specialties unit, with the primary workplace at Professorintie 5, Pori. The supervisor is the unit’s training manager. We follow KT’s collective agreement for educational personnel (OTES). The position has a 6-month probation period.
