Would you like to help design a better future with us? Your role at Sweco As an experienced designer of new builds, you will operate in an architectural lead role on demanding data center projects. You are responsible for the lead architect tasks and for coordinating the design package across multidisciplinary projects, where reliability, energy efficiency, safety, adaptability, and close collaboration between design disciplines are emphasized. In your work you ensure architectural design progresses with high quality, customer orientation, and in line with project goals. You will work closely with the rest of the architectural team and other design discipline representatives in the project teams. Your duties also include participating in bid activity and mentoring and sharing expertise with younger designers. You will have the opportunity to work on international, ambitious, technically demanding data center projects where solutions are developed to meet a rapidly changing industry needs. In these projects, an experienced expert will surely have opportunities to learn new things. Our architectural studios are located in Helsinki, Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä, Oulu and Kuopio. What makes you succeed in this role The role requires a degree as an architect or building architect and the capability to take on a lead designer role. You have experience with data center projects or large/complex industrial projects, and readiness to act in a lead designer role in new-build projects. You understand broad systems, can coordinate needs from different design disciplines, and communicate clearly with clients, authorities and the project organization. We expect fluent Finnish and English in speaking and writing, and experience with Revit and ACC. We also value the ability to mentor younger colleagues, interest in bidding activities, and a willingness to develop data center architecture together with an experienced team.
