This is a substitute position until the end of September at our Pelimanni site (Pelimannintie 16), where grades 6-9 study. If you have the passion and skills to support a student's growth, you may be the expert we are looking for. We offer an interesting task in Kannelmäki's unified comprehensive school, where you will work in an inspiring and multi-professional environment. Kannelmäki Comprehensive School is an inclusive local school whose values are student-centricity, community, and professionalism. We have the joy of doing and learning together. All our school professionals support the development of expertise - you can learn in cooperation with colleagues and students! There are about 1300 students and nearly 140 colleagues in our school. Our school operates in five different sites in the green Kaarela area, where nature is close. In our school, students study in language-rich Finnish-English teaching from the first grade and in expression-focused emphasized teaching from the seventh grade. The special education teacher provides group-specific support to students. In addition, the special education teacher can provide teaching as a student-specific support measure in connection with other teaching. The job description includes special pedagogical consultation, which is implemented through separate, joint discussions as well as in co-teaching during lessons by modeling and guiding.
