Job Description

We are seeking a qualified early childhood education teacher for a fixed-term position (August 3, 2026 - May 31, 2027) at Saarenputaa Daycare to join our committed team. Our team consists of professionals passionate about developing early childhood education, and we are now looking to strengthen our group. As an expert in early childhood pedagogy, your task is to promote children's growth, development, and learning in collaboration with your team and guardians. You will nurture and teach children and support their well-being. You will develop pedagogical activities in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act and curriculum. You will focus on participatory methods and assessment techniques. We require compliance with the qualifications for early childhood education teachers as per the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018, sections 26 or 75 transitional provisions. Additionally, team responsibility (€57.27) and qualification allowances are considered separately in the salary. If selected, you will need to provide a criminal record extract (Act on the Background Checks of Persons Working with Children, 504/2002) and a medical certificate of your health. The employer has the legal right to request and receive a drug test. The position has a probation period of five (5) months. The recruitment process is anonymous.
