Quant is a global market leader in industrial maintenance, operating in about 60 different locations and employing a total of about 1700 employees. In Finland, we operate as Quant Finland Oy with a strong team of about 250 employees. We are looking for an installation supervisor for our project organization to be responsible for the practical coordination and supervision of industrial installation projects in the Satakunta region. Work sites are mainly located in the Pori, Harjavalta and Kokemäki areas. As an installation supervisor, you ensure that the daily activities at the sites proceed safely, with quality and according to the agreed schedule. You act actively in a supervisory and coordinating role at the sites and ensure smooth cooperation and flow of information between customers, installers, subcontractors, the project organization and other stakeholders. Supervised work may include, for example, machine and equipment installations, piping installations, steel structures and other industrial installation and modification work. In this position, you do not participate in the actual installation work yourself, but are responsible for its supervision, coordination and ensuring smooth implementation. Key tasks include: - coordination and daily supervision of installation work at sites - ensuring the implementation of occupational safety, quality, schedules and agreed operating methods - coordinating the work, resources and work phases of installers, subcontractors and other parties operating at the site - ensuring cooperation and flow of information between customers, suppliers, the project organization and other stakeholders - reporting on the progress of sites and identifying and documenting deviations, additional work and modification needs - participating in site meetings, inspections, acceptances and project handovers - participating in the tender calculation of smaller contracts and the development of uniform practices for project activities together with the project manager and project management. In this position, you operate as part of Quant's project organization and report to the manager responsible for project activities. What we expect from you: We expect suitable technical education or strong expertise acquired through practical work experience in industrial installations. You have previous experience in installation supervision, work management, site coordination or other industrial project tasks. You understand what the smooth implementation of contracts from tender to execution requires, and you can coordinate the work of different operators even in changing situations. The position requires a willingness to move independently between customer sites located in the Satakunta region. The work does not fundamentally include regular travel or business trips requiring overnight stays. We consider as an advantage: - experience in machine and equipment installations, piping, steel structures or other industrial installation work - previous experience in work management, installation supervision or site coordination - experience in coordinating the work of installers and subcontractors - experience in tender calculation and planning the implementation of contracts - commercial understanding and a cost-conscious way of working - ability to interpret technical drawings and installation documentation - experience in site documentation and reporting - English language skills - valid safety and professional qualifications necessary for the task. By nature, you are open, cooperative and take safety issues seriously. You have a practical and proactive approach to work and are ready to be actively present at the sites. The work is mainly day work, but according to the schedules of the customer sites and sites, the task may occasionally require work in the evenings and on weekends. You seize emerging situations, move things forward determinedly and ensure that different parties stay up to date.
