Early childhood teacher

We are looking for an early childhood teacher for a 2–3 year old group at Norlandia Ilo. Our playful motto invites children to wonder, explore and learn, and as a pedagogue you enable learning moments in every interaction. In our unit we utilize the Komppi music concept, so an interest in using music and movement as part of children's everyday life is a plus. We also offer the possibility of a path to a deputy manager role and related training if you want to develop leadership skills in the future. What we expect from you: you are a qualified early childhood teacher who wants to do your work professionally with attention to children’s learning and discoveries. S2 proficiency is considered an asset, and good Finnish language skills are required. You are responsible for your group’s pedagogy, guide children’s learning and participate in developing the daycare. You will utilise AI and digital tools to support planning and evaluation, but your main tool is you as a professional who brings your own expertise and recognises children’s needs and possibilities.
