Part-Time Sales Assistants

We are now looking for part-time sales assistants for the Iisalmi store. Sales assistants’ duties at Puuilo include, among other things: Customer service: Sales assistants are Puuilo’s face in everyday customer interactions. Our customer base is broad and diverse, so the working day includes different kinds of encounters and situations. Our customers appreciate a willingness to help and the ability to solve problems in every situation. Cashier and information-desk work: Working days include both cashier duties and information-desk work. Information-desk duties include handling customer complaints, resolving possible problems, and renting trailers. Shelf stocking and displays: One of a sales assistant’s most important tasks is ensuring deliveries are unpacked and stocked on shelves for customers. Displays help ensure that current products are easy for customers to see and access. Varied customer-service situations and duties: Puuilo sales assistants have varied duties, including collecting online orders, cutting carpets and goods sold by the metre, exchanging gas cylinders, and helping customers with product questions. Cleaning: Store staff at Puuilo take care of the cleanliness of their own store. There is a cleaning day once a week, and staff also maintain general cleanliness in customer and staff areas every day. There is plenty of activity and radio chatter at Puuilo, which are a big part of our culture. You want to do all the tasks of a sales assistant and enjoy varied work. You are ready to get behind the wheel of a forklift at times to lift a stove into a customer’s car, or to operate a floor-cleaning machine in the store.
