About the role

Come and do meaningful and preventive work with children and young people in student welfare! The East Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is looking for a PSYCHOLOGIST for student welfare in a permanent position starting September 1, 2026, or by agreement. At the start of the assignment, the position is located in Finnish-language schools. A psychologist is an important and respected expert in schools, playing a key role in support services for children and youth. The psychologist's tasks in student welfare focus on supporting the psychological well-being of pupils and students, assessing the prerequisites for learning, and supporting learning in cooperation with schools and educational institutions. A newly graduated psychologist will have the opportunity to develop their professional skills in a multidisciplinary team, while a more experienced professional can apply their expertise broadly in diverse tasks. Our psychologists appreciate the proximity to nature in the wellbeing services county and the opportunity to work either in an urban environment or in a smaller locality.
